Assistant to Communications Director  •  Part-time  •  RH Scott Branch, MT

Description:

We are looking for an Assistant to Communications Director based in our RH Scott Branch Office located just outside the front gate of Malmstrom Air Force Base. 1st Liberty is a full service financial institution that offers a wide range of financial services; matching our members’ needs with our products and services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assisting the Communications Director in creating and implementing marketing messages and materials that will project a positive credit union image and assist in meeting goals. Assist with advertising programs, electronic marketing and demographic studies. Assist with planning, organizing, directing the credit union’s advertising and public relation functions in conjunction with the Communications Director and credit unions marketing strategies. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Communications Director. Approximately 30 hours per week M-F with occasional evening and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Prefer a college student working toward their marketing degree or related area or comparable job experience.
  • Prefer knowledge of marketing and advertising and be able to assist the Communications Director in developing effective marketing and advertising strategies and programs.
  • Problem solving skills to coordinate the marketing/advertising functions with the CPD Director, and to analyze and respond to changes in the regulatory and competitive market environment.
  • Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills. Strong people skills with the ability to positively reach into the communities 1st Liberty FCU serves.
  • Ability to effectively cross-sell credit union products and services.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Proven team player.
  • Proficient knowledge of standard office equipment, social media/networking and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Teller  •  Part-time  •  Grand Forks Branch, ND

Description:

We are looking for a Part-time Closing Teller for our Downtown Grand Forks Branch located in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Come and join the strongest progressive Credit Union in the area.

You will be responsible for assisting members with their account financial needs. These duties include, but are not limited to: providing account information, processing various financial transactions, such as, account deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and matching our members’ needs with the appropriate credit union products/services. Perform any backup or additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Prefer 1 year Teller/Customer Service or related work experience
  • Flexible with scheduled shifts
  • Must be able to cross-sell credit union services and products
  • Excellent listening and written/verbal communication skills
  • Proven team player with organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
