Description:
We are looking for a Branch Supervisor for our Shelby Branch located in Shelby, Montana.  Come and join our 1st Liberty family.
 
You will be responsible to supervise and direct the operations of a small branch for a full service credit union.  These duties include, but are not limited to: overseeing operational, accounting, marketing and loan processes.  Responsible for loan underwriting and lending decisions, building deposits and loan relationships, promoting sales of products/services, as well as retaining and building relationships with members.  Recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor and supervising support staff.  Monitor facility and equipment needs of the branch.  Must possess strong analytical, computer, communications, planning and organizational skills, and be service oriented. 

Requirements:
 
  • Business Degree or equivalent in business, finance, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Two to five years of leadership and managerial experience.
  • Previous experience in a financial institution in a retail or consumer lending role preferred.
  • Solid understanding of state, federal and regulatory compliance related to consumer lending.
  • Ability to cross-sell 1st Liberty products/services as well as be able to mentor/coach staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid driver’s license.

IT Systems Manager  •  Full-Time  •  RH Scott Branch

Description:

We are looking for a IT Systems Manager located in our R.H. Scott branch office, just outside of the main gate of Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT. Come and join our 1st Liberty family.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: supervise, direct & implement all aspects of the credit union’s Core Data Processing System & Department. This includes maintaining, trouble-shoot/problem solve network & core data systems, internet, security hardware and software problems, contract negotiations & 3rd party due diligence. Supervise, train, & mentor the IT staff. Maintain policies and procedures of the department. Responsible for creating & developing system reports & assisting management with system efficiencies and projects. Maintain the safety & soundness of all the credit union’s Core System and Data Processing hardware/software including routine testing of various equipment & systems to include our Disaster recovery plan.

Requirements:

  • Prefer a College Degree in information systems and/or comparable education preferred or a minimum of 3 years of core data systems, programming, report writing and network experience
  • Prefer an individual with strong CU background
  • Must have 3 years previous management experience and IT background
  • Previous contract negotiation, third party vendor
  • Must have strong communication and people skills
  • Must have a broad working understanding/experience of Microsoft, Core Data Systems, programming, UNIX, Internet, Networks, ISPs, Thin Client, Virtual Server, ATMs, security and related technologies; experience with electronic signs, peripheral equipment, such as, signature pads, receipt printers a plus
  • Prefer an individual with phone networking and troubleshooting experience with CenturyLink and Spectrum
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot/problem solve core data system, networks, hardware, or software problems; experience with Symitar and VM Ware systems a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to train others effectively required.
  • Experienced in oral and written communicative techniques needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to take charge of department and provide expected results required.

Description:

We are looking for a Compliance Assistant for our RH Scott office located just outside of the Malmstrom Air Force Base. 1st Liberty in a full service financial institution that offers a wide range of financial services; matching our members’ needs with our products and services. Perform reviews of credit union processes, policies, procedures, advertisements, brochures etc. to include reports to the C.A.D relative to new compliance while assisting in maintaining the safety and soundness of the credit union. Basic knowledge of compliance regulations, laws, BSA, TIS and OFAC, preferred. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Compliance/Audit Director.
