We are looking for a FT Member Service Representative for our RH Scott Office located in Great Falls, Montana. 1st Liberty in a full service financial institution that offers a wide range of financial services; matching our members’ needs with our products and services. You will be assisting members with all their account financial needs in person and over the telephone.  These duties include, but are not limited to, the following: opening new accounts, providing account information, member account reconciliations, providing share and loan rates, processing various financial transactions, processing loan payments, deposit verifications, processing IRA and CD accounts and matching our members' needs with the appropriate credit union products/services. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.

Description:

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, flexible Part-time Collection Assistant to join our RH Scott Branch, located just outside the front gate of Malmstrom Air Force Base. Come and join the strongest progressive Credit Union in the area.

You will be assisting the collection staff with maintenance of delinquent accounts, in addition to, working with our collection agencies. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: answering and directing phone calls, general clerical maintenance, processing of member payments, updating accounts, communications with the collection staff, negative share processing, CPI insurance and report preparation. In addition, looking for opportunities to match our members' needs with the appropriate credit union products/services. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Collection Supervisor. General hours are M-F approximately 25-32 hours a week.

  • Prefer 1 year experience in working delinquent accounts or business clerical experience or comparable work experience.

You will be responsible to supervise and direct the operations of a small branch for a full service credit union. These duties include, but are not limited to: overseeing operational, accounting, marketing and loan processes. Responsible for loan underwriting and lending decisions, building deposits and loan relationships, promoting sales of products/services, as well as retaining and building relationships with members. Recruit, hire, train, coach, mentor and supervising support staff. Monitor facility and equipment needs of the branch. Must possess strong analytical, computer, communications, planning and organizational skills, and be service oriented.

Requirements:

  • Business Degree or equivalent in business, finance, economics or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Two to five years of leadership and managerial experience.
  • Previous experience in a financial institution in a retail or consumer lending role preferred.
  • Solid understanding of state, federal and regulatory compliance related to consumer lending.
