Description:

We are actively searching for an Marketing Assistant located in our R.H. Scott branch office, just outside of the main gate of Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, MT. Come and join the 1st Liberty FCU Family!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: assisting the Digital Communication Director in creating and implementing marketing messages and materials that will project a positive credit union image and assist in meeting goals. Assist with advertising programs, electronic and social media marketing and demographic studies. Assist with planning organizing and public relations functions in conjunction with the Digital Communication Director and credit unions marketing strategies. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Digital Communication Director.

Requirements:

  • Prefer Associate Degree in Communication/Marketing/Public Relations/Graphic Design/Business Administration, but not required.
  • 2 years of professional experience in development in marketing campaigns, ad placement, and Social Media Marketing a plus, but not required.
  • Must have strong writing skills
  • Flexible in working some evenings or weekends on an occasional basis

  • A thorough understanding of the credit unions philosophy with the ability to effectively cross-sell credit union products and services

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: oversee, plan, organize, direct and supervise employees and the accounting department. Responsible for all financial budgeting, statements, forecasting, business planning, GL reconciliation, direct investment and management of the corporate portfolio, ALM Profitstar preparation, daily/monthly/annual reports, policy/procedure review, analyzing risk, as well as cost/benefits of products and services of the credit union.

Requirements:

  • Prefer a CPA, BS/BA Degree in Accounting/Finance with 5 plus years of experience with general ledger, financial modeling scenarios, the ability to understand management’s business plan and assumptions regarding the range of possible future rate conditions.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Prefer experience in performing cost analysis of financial products and services.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and knowledge of Credit Union philosophy, operations, regulations, practices, policies and procedures. Must be able to close credit union books on a monthly basis.
  • Must be a teamplayer, have excellent verbal/written communication skills with strong managerial and interpersonal skills. Proven ability and willingness to train other staff as required.
  • Demonstrated self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision with previous experience demonstrating the ability take ownership of responsibilities and drive department successfully.
